The Torquay United Football in the Community Scheme has been running since 1992. In those days we were under the umbrella of the (PFA) Professional Footballs' Association, encouraging children to take part in football and to support their local club. We are extremely pleased to have recently gained Charitable Trust status and are now known as the Torquay United Community Sports Educational Trust, and involve ourselves in wider aspects of lifestyle, but still with football at the heart of everything.
Whilst our name may have changed, our values remain the same. Torquay is a small town but big on football. Our club is at the heart of the Community and we are proud of the many links we have forged within it.
Inclusion for all is something we are constantly striving for here at Torquay United and in the wider Community. Our on going partnership with South Devon Primary Schools goes from strength to strength.
